KUU Quick Start Guide

Before your first trip, here are a few quick tips to get the best compression out of your KUU.

1. Packing

Pack your clothes evenly inside the cube.

For bulky items like puffer jackets, we like putting them at the bottom, then layering heavier clothes on top.

This helps press the bulk down and makes closing the cube easier.

2. Zip

The compression zip is intentionally snug and may require a little strength.

A tight seal is necessary for KUU to hold its vacuum properly.

Take your time around the corners and always make sure no clothing or fabric is caught in the zip.

3. Check

Inside the air valve you'll see a small rubber one-way valve seal.

It's what allows air to leave the cube while preventing air from flowing back in.

⚠️
 DO NOT REMOVE RUBBER SEAL!

 4. Attach

Place the pump nozzle directly over the valve.

Press down gently so the nozzle sits snugly around the valve and creates a tight seal.

The nozzle should sit over the valve, not inside it.

5. Compress

Once the pump nozzle is securely positioned over the valve, turn on the pump to start compressing.

If the pump doesn't seem to be drawing air, don't panic!

Gently lift or reposition the valve cover slightly, then place the pump back over the valve and try again.

Once compressed, close the valve cover securely.

Travelling with pump

Our pump contains a rechargeable lithium battery, so we recommend keeping it in your carry-on baggage rather than checked luggage.

Airline battery policies can differ, so always check your airline's latest requirements before flying.
